Hair of the Day featuring Raw Curls & Shea Moisture again

I wanted to do a quick "Hair of the Day" post to talk about how much I love the new Raw Curls Wavy Swavy Cleanser and Conditioner! Continue reading.

I am still going to dedicate a separate review to the products, but I've been using the new Raw Curls Wavy Swavy Cleanser and Conditioner for just about every wash since I received them! I say just about because the once a week now when I use a hair masque, I still use the conditioner as a leave in.

These pictures are Day 1 Hair and are the exact products and application as I used in my "Hair of the Day" blog post I did here with my first impressions of the Wavy Swavy products. I actually just finished that bottle of the Shea Moisture Anti-Breakage Wave Defining Lotion so now I'll be moving onto more styling products too.

I've been so happy with the Raw Curls Wavy Swavy Cleanser and Conditioner, I actually used the coupon code they sent me to order the huge 32oz of the Conditioner so I don't run out before using up all of the shampoo. The only drawback to this conditioner is how much of it my hair drinks up at a time. But for the performance, it is worth it to me! Raw Curls was so kind and generous to send me a couple stylers with my huge conditioner so I will be playing with and blogging about those too soon.
16 oz and 32 oz
Aside from how soft my hair feels and the shine, I really love how easily the definition comes out in my waves when using this combo. There have also been times when I wash my hair 3 times in a week due to work outs and even though I reach for the Cleanser every time, my hair never felt dried out at all!
Granted, these are not the best photos. It was dark, really late and we were out all day and Tommie kind of rushed to take a picture of the back of my head so it looks more uneven and to the side than it should.

I'm thrilled to see the back of my hair is actually below my shoulders again! Now if only the sides and annoying uneven layers would get there too.
I also have been trying to figure out how to dry my hairline without stretching it back to get it straighter. So far, every time I tried with either 2 strand twists, strategically placed clips, finger twirling or anything else, it's been a major fail. So I have to keep working on that and practicing. Once I master it, I'll post about it.
For those keeping track, I have not dyed my hair now in over 14 months!! It's crazy how much healthier and nicer my true virgin hair feels, and how much money and time I save by not sitting there while I have to let color sit on my roots. LOL
