Milk Makeup Blur Stick Primer

Milk Makeup is a brand I'm intrigued by and definitely want to try more of. I have heard so much about the Milk Makeup Blur Stick Primer I just had to get one and try it out for myself. Did I find it as amazing as my other blogger friends? Is it the best primer ever? Read on for more.

Here is some info about the Blur Stick Primer from Milk Makeup:

From the Brand: "What it is: A colorless, oil- and silicone-free primer to blur the look of imperfections on all skin tones.

What it does: Blur Stick minimizes the appearance of pores and fine lines on every skin tone for an invisible, smooth, matte finish. Use it as a primer for a smooth finish and to lock in your makeup. This stick is free of silicone, and it will not clog pores.

What else you need to know: Milk Makeup is a paraben-free, eco-conscious, innovative product line made of the best possible ingredients. They see beauty in originality, authenticity, and design multiuse products for self-expression.

Blur Stick is vegan, cruelty-free, and free of dimethicone, oil, paraben, phthalates, sulfates and gluten"

I have to say, this primer stick lives up to the hype! I really like that it is dimethicone free, since often times silicones can trigger my adult acne. I glide it on my face straight from the stick then blend it out with my fingers and even before adding any makeup on top my face looks better. It looks nice and airbrushed and so diffused. My face feels so smooth with it on. On really good skin days when I'm not going anywhere fancy, I can skip foundation and just put concealer on my undereye area if I want to.

When used with foundation, this primer is just plain wonderful. I've tried several foundations from different brands on top of this and I consistently got similar results: it helps with shine, helps my foundation apply more evenly and wear longer. I really do notice extended wear time when using this. It just adds an extra element to any foundation making them look that much better on my skin!

One thing I will say, is to be careful not to use too much. On a few occasions I swiped too heavily, it did start to pill a little bit. When I use less and the right amount, I don't have this issue.

It's hard to see the difference in the pictures of just the blue stick on. But the difference it makes for me in flawlessness and longevity under foundation is wonderful.

Overall, the Milk Makeup Blur Stick has become one of my favorite primers for how it works equally well alone and with foundation on top!
