5 "Hair of the Days" Using a Mix of Brands and a Briogeo Promo Code!

I haven't been the best at doing multi day "Hair of the Days" posts. My apologies! The good news is this post has Days 1,2 and 3 then washing with another Day 1 and 2. It's a bit long, but makes up for my lacking. Continue reading on for more!

Before starting, I wanted to tell you guys I heard your requests for wanting an updated refresher routine videos. I just recorded the footage and need to do a voiceover and edit, so hopefully I will have that up on YouTube next week!

Day 1

Here is what I used:
  • Pre- Poo: The Mane Choice Heavenly Halo Pre-Poo Treatment
  • Cleanser: CurlSmith Curl Quenching Conditioning Wash
  • Conditioner: DevaCurl Melt Into Moisure and Deep Sea Repair masks mixed together
  • Stylers (wet): DevaCurl Heaven In Hair (as leave in), Raw Curls Anti-Frizz Spray, DevaCurl B'Leave In, ArcAngel, MirrorCurls, Flexible Hold Hairspray
  • Stylers (dry): a little more MirrorCurls and hairspray

I was heading to a Hanson concert (yes Hanson as in "Mmmbop". They're still around and make some amazing music. Google them) and wanted my hair to look really good. Tommie is beyond amazing for bringing me to the show.  I applied products on wet hair as usual (see video here) and added in the hairspray at the end for good measure.

I wish I had taken my traditional day 1 hair pics. I did snap a few as my hair was air drying with my roots still wet. I had such incredible curl definition and minimal frizz. What's most impressive is the pictures of me with the black shirt on, those were taken around 2am when I got home, before showering and after jumping and dancing and sweating. My hair survived a concert pit!!! My makeup is pretty smudged and a lot worn off, but that is a sign of a good time.

The CurlSmith Conditioning Wash is so awesome! I did a review of that brand months ago on my blog and will have another updated video review soon. They are definitely worth checking out!!

I recently picked up some of The Mane Choice Heavenly Halo collection from Target, where it is an exclusive. I'll have a separate full blog review on these soon. The Pre-Poo smells incredible, like a fruity candy. The Pre-Poo is supposed to soften and protect hair while minimizing breakage and adding in hydration. I really like it so far. I used it overnight, applying the night before.

Of course if you are a regular blog reader of mine (thank you!) you know my love of DevaCurl by now :)

you can see the exhaustion in my eyes here. lol

 Day 2
 Here is what I used:
  • Up North Naturals Freshen Up Mist, DevaCurl B'Leave In mixed with CURLS Blueberry Bliss Leave-In Conditioner

I applied the mist section by section in smaller sections and then mixed equal parts of the B'Leave In and CURLS Blueberry Leave-In together in my hair for two total sections using "praying hands" to smooth the product down and then scrunching up. I'm noticing as my hair gets healthier, I need to use less product overall on day 2 and 3 hair which is great!

 Day 3
 Here is what I used:
  • Briogeo Scalp Revival Dry Shampoo, DevaCurl SuperCream

I worked out so needed the dry shampoo. My hair was still going pretty strong from the past few days so I took 2 pumps of the SuperCream for 2 sections of hair (so 4 pumps total) smoothed it down and scrunched again.

Day 1 (again)
I could have gotten Day 4 hair, and I was a bit sad to wash but if you are crazy like me, you have plan on your wash days in advance and I knew I wanted to wash on Friday for Comic Con on Saturday and since I like at least a day or so between washing, I decided to wash Tuesday instead of pushing it to Wednesday and only having one day between those washes. Does that make sense? I promise in my head it does.

Here is what I used:
  • Cleanser: Briogeo Rosarco Shampoo
  • Conditioner: DevaCurl One Condition mixed with Belle Bar Waikiki Mask
  • Stylers: Briogeo Rosarco Conditioner (as a leave in), Raw Curls Anti-Frizz Spray, DevaCurl Arc Angel, CurlsSmith Oil Serum

My hair felt like it wanted to be shampooed, not just co-washed so I went in with a favorite my Briogeo. I LOVE their Rosarco shampoo because it thoroughly cleanses my hair without leaving it strip. It also helps repair the hair and give shine. The Rosarco collection always has natural UV protection inside which is great since it is still pretty warm near me and I've been taking advantage of hanging out with Stretch in my yard a lot.

Belle Bar is an awesome company and this was my first time trying one of their products. What makes them unique is the hair masks come in a powder and you mix them with another medium- could be a conditioner or natural stuff (banana, honey, yougrt, etc.) Since I have a nice amount of DevaCurl One Condition and know how nice it performs by itself, I used that as the base for the Waikiki mask. You can read more about the Waikiki mask here, where the site claims that this specific blend adds moisture and repair for damaged, brittle hair. I'm going to have a more detailed review on this brand and a bunch of their products soon. I think this addition helped make my curls really pop!? I look forward to using it again.

The CurlSmith Oil Serum makes such an awesome sealer on wet hair. A little bit goes far, as it is quite potent!

The lighting in and out of my window kept changing and it's crazy how it effected my hair color!?
Makeup free in these, except lip balm.

Day 2 (again)
Here is what I used:
  • Briogeo Scalp Revival Dry Shampoo, Rosarco Milk, Curl Charisma Gel, Rosarco Oil

Products were applied the same way as the last day 2 in this blog. The Curl CHarisma Gel does not have enough hold for me to use on wet hair (please make a stronger gel, Briogeo) but it works great to add shine back on days old hair.

No surprise here, this blog post got long Shout out if you bothered to read everything!! :) You're awesome!!

By the way, if you shop for Briogeo on their site and click the banner on my page to the right, I get points and if you set up an account, you do it! It is completely free to do so and would be so much appreciative! You can also shop through my link HERE and save 15% !!!!!
