IT Cosmetics IT Girl Beauty Book with 4 Looks!

I have this palette for a few weeks now and was hoping to blog about it earlier, but with my headaches earlier in December and not being able to get my eyebrows done, it had to wait. Believe me my eyebrows looked unacceptable to be photographed this close! Better late than never though, right? Here is my review and looks with the It Girl Beauty Book from It Cosmetics!
Unfortunately, at the time of writing this blog post, QVC sold out of the Beauty Book! But who knows if it decided to pop back up at some point. We never truly know.

The "cover" of the book is absolutely gorgeous. Like the It Girl palette I blogged about that was exclusive to Ulta this year, the cover has the same gorgeous crystals. So much shine! I love it. I've been leaving both palettes out on my dresser because they are wonderful to look at.

The book unfolds to four "pages" and has everything you need for your face except mascara, brow and foundation!

The first page has color correctors, a cream highlighters and the pressed Bye Bye Pores powder! This powder is a Holy Grail of mine, it does such a nice job helping shine without getting cakey or settling into pores or fine lines. The color corrector does a nice job at lightening my dark circles, but since my circles are so dark, I still prefer concealer on top. I like using the tan/rich shade to contour with. Truthfully, I would have liked seeing the highlighter pan split in half and have a bronzer in here too since that is one thing this palette is missing. But since I can contour with the dark corrector shade, it is okay. The cream highlighter is pretty, but I usually skip highlighter on my cheeks. I've been using this on top of lipsticks to give my lips added dimension and glow.

The second "page" has a new exclusive color of ombre blush and six of the brand's Blurred Linned lipsticks in pans. Three of the colors are brand new and they are so beautiful, I really hope IT releases them in traditional lipstick components!!  "Kisses" and "Fairytale' are my two favorites. The lip formula is incredibly moisturizing, pigmented and make my lips look lovely. The blush shade is also pink and gorgeous and can double as eyeshadow.

The last page before the nice sized mirror is the eyeshadows and liners! The top shade is one of the Superhero Eye Foundations in a new, exclusive shade, followed by nine shadow formulas that are mixes of mattes and metallic finishes. The Eye Foundation actually takes the place of an eyeshadow primer.  The bottom two shades are liners, but can be used as shadows also. Everything can be used wet or dry. IT's shadows always blend like a dream and wear all day for me and the ones from this palette continue with those great qualities.

Finally, the palette is perfect for gifting because it comes all boxed up, including a bow and tag!
