Wander Beauty Glow Getter Mist and Baggage Claim Eye Masks Beauty IQ Steal for 12/29/17

Wander Beauty has a great steal on Beauty IQ tonight, December 29th from 8pm for 24 hours or until it sells out! What is super unique about the set for the steal, featuring the popular Glow Getter Mist and brand new Baggabe Claim Foil Eye Masks, is that this is the first time we're seeing the brand branch into skincare! Read on for more.

If you never tried Wander Beauty before, you definitely should! The brand became one of my favorites since not only are all the cosmetics infused with beneficial skincare ingredients sourced from around the world, but the performance of everything I ever tried is truly fantastic. Formulas last all day, powders do not cake, mascara does not smudge, lip colors moisturize...I could go on and on. I'll leave my demo video using all Wander Beauty makeup at the end of the blog just in case you haven't seen it yet or tried the brand.

Now, back to the steal. Beauty IQ is the sister channel to QVC that gives us all beauty all the time (which is pretty much amazing for everything except my unemployed bank account) You can find the steal of the day Monday through Friday starting at 8pm and going for 24 hours until sell out, as mentioned earlier. This steal specifically is offering a very popular product by Wander, one that I had, used up and now have another of and a brand new product which I was beyond excited to test out!

Glow Getter Mist
Them: "Achieve healthy, hydrated, and radiant skin with Glow Getter Mist. The fine mist nozzle provides an even glow with a blend of 5 globally inspired skin-loving extracts and 12 exotic non-comedogenic oils. Icelandic glacier water contains a unique blend of minerals that calm and invigorate skin."

  • Glacier Water (Iceland) – purest form of water, contains minerals that calm, soothe, and brighten skin
  • Avocado Oil (Spain), Evening Primrose Oil (United Kingdom), Lavender Oil (Bulgaria), Lemon Peel Oil (United States), & Safflower Seed Oil (Netherlands) – hydrate and nourish skin
  • Hibiscus Fruit Extract (South Korea) & Anise Fruit Extract (India) – have anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and healing properties, even skin tone, and help retain moisture

Me: I first tried the Glow Getter Mist mid 2017 in The Secret Escape kit. You can see my blog on that here, or better yet I'll just re-post it for you right now--- "I admittedly was so nervous about this product. I have combination, shine prone skin and most things I have tried that say "glow" wind up making my face look overly dewy or greasy. When you apply this the correct way, it absolutely does not! First off, the smell is so yummy- like fresh roses! You also want to make sure you shake it well before spraying. Now the key for me is, do not hold this spray too close to your face when you spray it. I made that mistake the first time, too much product came out in small areas, and I did look more dewy than I prefer. On second try, I held it a bit further back to it evenly dispersed a mist, and it gave my face a natural, lit from within glow that is not overdone and not greasy looking at all. I use this after applying makeup, sometimes during the day to refresh and since it is full of so many great skincare ingredients, I spray it on bare skin on makeup free days as well. I also will spray it in a hair on second or third day sometimes and it adds back moisture my hair desperately caves. Because of the usage for hair too, I'd love to see this come out in a larger size." So I decided to re-post my own review since I still agree with everything I said exactly. Nothing changed. Although now that it is Winter and my skin is acting a bit more dry, I find the spray to be even MORE hydrating and refreshing! There are very few products that say they will give me a "glow" that I actually like, but this is one of them. That being said, of course I would still love a matte version that controls some shine but with the great skincare inside. And since I do still love it in my hair, I'm awaiting that larger size.

Baggage Claim Gold Foil Eye Masks

Them: "Give your eyes a much needed wakeup call with this at-home skin saver. Wander Beauty’s NEW Baggage Claim Gold Foil Eye Masks brighten, hydrate, and reduce the appearance of dark circles and fine lines. Red eye flights, seasonal allergies or just one too many glasses of rosé, are a few of the many things that can leave your eyes out of sorts. Whether you’re dealing with dehydration or puffiness, dark circles or fine lines, these eyes masks are what you need for brighter, smoother, refreshed eyes.

Experience three innovative layers of luxury. The gold foil helps retain heat and prevents evaporation allowing the maximum amount of serum to penetrate the skin. The middle layer is elastic so the masks will never slip and the third is a cellulose fiber that condenses and delivers key ingredients efficiently, giving you all the skin-loving benefits you need! Hyaluronic acid delivers intense hydration to diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Aloe Leaf Extract and Lavender Oil offer a cooling effect while soothing and calming the eye area."

  • Calendula (Egypt) – soothes and moisturizes skin

  • Aloe Leaf Extract (Korea) & Lavender Oil (Bulgaria) – soothe, cool and hydrate skin

Me: As part of the steal, you get a box with six pairs of eye masks. I was sent two pairs to try and give my feedback on. I think it is awesome to see Wander expand more into the true skincare realm. I also LOVE Eye Masks. Since I'm forever hating my super duper dark circles, and now the fine lines popping up in that area despite using eye cream since I was like thirteen (seriously.), I've grown to become obsessed with eye masks and usually use them twice a week. I like that these eye masks stay put on the under eye area and don't slide all over my face, as some other eye masks I've tried in the mask have done. I can't speak of long term skincare benefits since I only used them twice so far, but right away  my eye area felt more moisturized and actually looked brighter. Whoa.  I also noticed as soon as I took them off my "crow's feet" practically vanished! What!? It was insane. That result lasted about two days before they reappeared, but if you have an even coming up (like my wedding next year) using a pair the morning of to make the eye area look as best as possible is a no-brainer. I couldn't believe how less noticeable that pesky line was! If you open the envelope of these very carefully, there is so much juice inside you can get away with reusing them. That's what I did. Once I was done the first time, I removed them carefully and placed them back on the plastic disc they came in.  I'm hoping to get more of these so I can give an updated continued, consistent use review of them and see if my lines can disappear more permanently. But truly, these eye masks are so great I hope Wander's Product Development Team is working on a daily eye cream next.

The steal is such a great deal, if you love Wander, want to try Wander, are in the market for new fun beauty stuff to play with (which let's be honest, when are we not?) definitely give this kit a go! The 6 pack of the Eye Masks retail alone for $25, while the Glow Getter Mist is $28 solo. The steal is $35 for both! Worth it? Of course- but who doesn't like saving money when they can??

And here is my demo using all Wander Beauty makeup on my face, as I mentioned earlier:
