BelleBar Organic Valentine's Day Hair Mask Review with Raw Curls, Briogeo and Curlsmith

Last week I did a combination of deep conditioners and stylers that yielded me wonderful results! I'm a bit behind on posting my "hair of the days", but now that I have a chance I want to talk about it so continue on reading!

Before getting into details, here is everything I used for this wash day:

  • Cleanser: Curlsmith Curl Quenching Conditioning Wash
  • Conditioner: Raw Curls Conditioner + Belle Bar Valentine's Day Hair Mask
  • Stylers: Briogeo Don't Despair, Repair Leave In, Raw Curls Conditioner (also as a leave in), Anti-Frizz Spray, Firm Hold Gel, Briogeo Rosarco Oil

I've been applying styling products on my wet hair a bit differently. I am back to my own version of Ouidad's "Rake and Shake" method where I comb the products through in small sections with my fingers, shake the ends and then scrunch. I really find application this way not only is giving me better and more consistent curls, but my day two, three and sometimes even four hair also holds up significantly better!

Raw Curls Styling Products have been also making my hair SO HAPPY. Bonus, my hair air dries faster when I use them!

BelleBar Valentine's Day Hair Mask with the + Raw Curls Conditioner

I really enjoy Bellebar Products. They are pure, organic and also customizeable! I recently became an ambassador for the brand when they asked me, so I have my own unique link HERE you can shop from if you'd like (I make a small commission off it and every penny helps right now as I job hunt)

The masks are cool because they come in powder form and you can mix them in with your favorite conditioner. Since I really like Raw Curls Conditioner, which is also organic and full of nice, pure ingredients, I thought the two products would play nice together and man I was right!!

This is what Belle Bar says about their masks:
"*Our hair masks are concentrated, super boost powders that turn your favorite conditioner into a powerful deep conditioner, or can be used as a premium base for your at-home DIY hair conditioner."

The Valentine's Day Mask contains Hibiscus, Hawaiian Kukui Nut Oil, Marshmallow Root and Pomegrante as a base to increase slip, moisture and shine! I selected the add ons Cocoa to help aging hair and increase blood circulation to the scalp, Acai to promote hair growth and strengthen hair from the roots plus Rosehip which is additional anti-aging for the hair in my mask. The mask is SUPER Moisturizing. Each mask you have the option of up to three add ons to truly make it custom.

You can read the benefits of all the ingredients BelleBar uses HERE.

I REALLY love the way my hair felt and looked! My curls were defined, bouncy, shiny and frizz was kept to a minimal.

These first few selfies were taken sitting down in front of my ring light, no flash on but natural light also from outside.

The rest of the pictures were taken not even 5 feet away in the same room, with the same ring light, also no flash but it was dark outside.

The lighting and color difference is CRAZY to me. Why does my face look more tan in the pictures above? Why does my hair look darker in these?! These pictures were also taken hours later, after going out in the cold. A little more frizz popped up as you can see, but hey- that's real life.

My day two and three hair also held up nicely. I have pictures of day two where I used a new refreshing spray I will have a review of soon so be on the look out for that post in the future.
