NuFace Microcurrent Facial Toning Device 5 Year Review and Demo

I've been saying I would do this video probably for a year now, and here it is! I have been using the NuFace Microcurrent Facial Toning Device very consistently since I received it as a Christmas gift in December 2013. Read on for my five year review as we as a demo video!

Here is some information about the NuFace Microcurrent Facial Toning Device from the company:

Award-winning facial toning device, innovatively-designed with interchangeable treatment attachments. Clinically-tested and consumer reviewed for improved facial contour, facial tone, and wrinkle reduction to give you a more radiant, younger looking appearance. Professional treatment in the comfort of your own home with visible results in as little as 5 minutes a day.

Ergonomically designed device stimulates the larger surface areas of your face and neck with gentle microcurrent to improve facial contour, facial tone and the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Use 5 minutes per day. For the first 60 days, use 5 days per week. After 60 days, use 2-3 days per week to maintain results." Where to Use: Face and Neck

What To Expect:
Contour Help improve the definition of facial features.
Smooth Help improve the look of fine lines and wrinkles.

Tone Improve the appearance of sagging skin."

I wanted this to help sculpt, define and tone my face since a double chin and chubby cheeks are unfortunately genetic for me. Not only has the NuFace helped with this, it also helps with lines and wrinkles. I started using this when I was in my twenties and I'm now in my early 30s. I believe using the NuFace consistently is allowing me to age gracefully and also helped in a preventative way with sagging and wrinkles appearing. That's not to say I have no fine lines, because I do, but they probably would be even worse without incorporating this brilliant tool.

The thing with the NuFace is it will only work if you use it. If you buy it, and it sits in the box it isn't going to do a thing!!! You have to use it and have to be consistent. By that I mean, not to just use it sporadically and every now and again. Use it regularly. The brand says to use it five days a week for the first five months and then two to three times a week to continue with your results. Five years later and I use it almost every day because I absolutely love and adore the lift it gives. If I go more than two to three days not using it (a rarity) I swear I see a difference in my face and not in a good way. I even take my NuFace with me on vacations and it was a major necessity in making me feel my most confident for my wedding!!!

You only need to use the NuFace for five minutes a day. You can do more if you want to, which I usually like to do. Prior to my wedding or before I big event, I spend A LOT of time with my NuFace while watching TV. The results are so worth it to me.

I like using the Leave-On Hydrating Gel Primer the brand makes with it. You absolutely need a conductivity gel so the microcurrent glides on and penetrates on the face. Without it, it feels as if you are getting mild shocks and hurts like hell. With it, you don't feel a thing. It is completely pain free!! People have said you can use aloe vera gel or other gels with it but nothing I tried works as well as the brand's primer and certain conductivity gels made for the body with ultrasounds, etc are comenogenic and will clog up my acne prone skin and cause me to break out. The NuFace Gel Primer causes me no issues at all with breaking out.
Here is my video below as well as a demo on techniques I like to use:
Here is my original first impressions video from January 2014:
Overall, the NuFace Microcurrent Facing Toning Device is my absolute favorite beauty tool and I don't ever want to be without it.

They also make one for the body which I am DYING to get my hands on but haven't had the money to do so yet.
