Wander Beauty NYC Pop Up Shop!

Last week I was fortunate enough to be invited to the launch party for Wander Beauty's pop up shop on the Upper East Side! In this post I'll recap the fun and tell you about it so if you are in the area, you can go by and visit! Continue reading for more.

The pop up shop is beautiful. There are a few cute instagram photo ops, as well as testers of all the current Wander Beauty products so you can play, feel and see the colors in real life before ordering online. Right near the products are makeup stations with great lighting There's even sneak peeks of products not yet out! Additionally, there is a sink to feel the brand's skincare on your skin! There's also a pretty mood board with a unique opportunity you can read more about below. My dear husband agreed to go with me as my plus one and met me close by after he got off work. He was my photographer for the night and I'm so grateful for his patience.

 So much glorious Wander Skincare!

I really want this new Instant Facial!

Here I am at the sink playing with "BRB", a not-yet-released exfoliator from the brand. I used it to scrub my hands and they felt incredible after. I can only imagine what this product does for the face. I need this, too!

My current favorite eyeshadow palette, FLING (see review here) and the upcoming SEASCAPE palette, out in May, that I can't wait to own!!!

I was able to talk with Lindsay Ellingson and Divya Gugnani, the founders and creators of the brands. These ladies are so hard working and inspiring, and also really kind to chat with!

I also finally got to meet my friend Danielle who is a talented makeup artist and part of the Wander Beauty team! We've been talking online for years so it was great to meet in real life!\.

The event was filled with delicious snacks. There was wine if you drink alcohol (I don't) and also coconut water which made me excited. The cookies and cake pops were as adorable as they were delicious. They were cute cupcakes too, but I've been trying to limit my sugar lately so had to show some kind of self control. There was also a plate of heaven (aka a cheese platter) and raw veggies which I forgot to take pictures of.

This mood board is special. The brand wants us, the fans and customers, to help create a palette to be released in 2020. When visiting the store, we're asked to bring a picture we love with a color we'd love to see as a potential eyeshadow! You better believe I am going back with a picture in hand,
