Tangles "Tame That Mane" Hair Mask

Tangles "Tame That Mane" Coconut and Guava Hair Mask is a brand new launch that I had to opportunity to try. The cruelty free, vegan brand is made in the USA, featuring naturally derived ingredients, without any harmful or unwanted ingredients inside. Read on for more info and my thoughts after using.

The package that arrived was beautifully done. In addition to the mask, it also came with a brush:

Here is some more information about the mask:

First off, I MUST comment on the scent. OH MY DOG!!! The smell of this stuff is out of this world! Hands down, one of the best smelling hair products I ever came across. It has an enticing, delicious tropical fruit smoothie fragrance. The guava is strong and yummy. I always get nervous when coconut is a main ingredient since I do not care for the smell of it but I don't smell coconut in the scent at all.

The texture is rich and thick. That being said, it did not feel super heavy and doesn't feel greasy at all. This mask is quite potent, and I didn't need to use much at all for all of my hair. When applying to wet hair, it absorbed into my strands quickly.

The brush has nice flexible, plastic bristles, reminding me of a Tangle Teezer. The bristles are also all different lengths to make detangling really easy.

As mentioned, my hair drank this mask up so beautifully. When I rinsed, after leaving it in my hair twenty minutes, it looked shiny and felt so soft.

For this wash day, I've been using shampoo and stylers I've been reaching for a lot lately, so I could truly see the difference the mask made in my hair. I feel that it left my curls bouncy and defined, with a lot less frizz then I usually have. My hair will never be 100% frizz free. Overall, I'm very pleased with the results. This is good stuff!
